Gemma Houldey

Dr. Gemma Houldey works at the intersections of wellness and social justice and inclusion.

She is the author of The Vulnerable Humanitarian: Ending Burnout Culture in the Aid Sector, which draws on doctoral research in Kenya and her own experience of burnout and recovery.

Gemma brings her 20+ years of experience in humanitarian and human rights work, along with 10+ years of training in and teaching wellbeing and somatic practices, to support change-makers to learn radical strategies that overcome burnout and which have inner, collective and systemic change at their heart.
