Challenging the Narrative: Healing the Stories That Shape How We Serve

This 90-minute introductory workshop draws on the five-stage story-healing arc from Dimple Dhabalia's award-winning book, Tell Me My Story: Challenging the Narrative of Service Before Self. Moving through each stage — shaping, surviving, seeing, shifting, and sharing — participants will begin to explore the stories that first drew them to service, the survival strategies they've developed to keep going, and what becomes possible when they start to see those stories with clarity and compassion.
This session is designed as a first step — an opening into the story-healing process rather than a comprehensive journey through it. Participants will leave with:
